
Breastfeeding mothers would earn up to $35,000 a year if they were paid to nurse their children, according to a new calculation.
Keiko Zoll, 34, a freelance writer from Greater Boston, worked out what a mother’s salary would be if women were paid for their time spent breastfeeding.
The mother calculated what a mother’s salary would be at both the federal minimum wage level of $7.25 and the ‘living wage’ of $15 an hour if she was remunerated for nursing in an article for Romper.
